REMEMBERING THE CLASSIC YEARS AT WAAM, ANN ARBOR, MI.

From "Bob Marshall" :

During the spring of 1979, I became a weekend air talent and Assistant Engineer at Ann Arbor's WAAM. Before the end of the year, I had become full time Air Talent and Production Director, thanks to the station's (then) Operations Manager, Jack Hood. This page shows some memorabilia from "my" era, which lasted until March of 1981. I returned a year later to help out Jimmy Barrett.

Below: Most of the original 1979-1980 WAAM broadcast crew assembled by Jack in 1979.

From a 1980 sales package...Above left to right: "Fat Bob" Taylor, Jeff Ryder, Fred Heller, Hank Moorehouse (station magician), Dave Dugan (Kosh), Art Versnick. Below: Bob Marshall.
